The quest for innovative applications that leverage cutting-edge artificial intelligence and machine learning has become a paramount endeavor.

Seizing upon this challenge, PlantSnap tasked me to build a mobile application that would accruately identify a wide variety of plants from user-submitted photos. This involved developing a robust backend with complex image recognition algorithms capable of processing large datasets and delivering fast, accurate classification results. A major priority was to ensure that the mobile application was scalable, supported various device types (screen sizes) and operating systems (iOS, Android), and upheld user data privacy. SRM 360

In recognizing the importance of efficient internal communication, the SRM Concrete team assigned me the task of designing and building an employee intranet, SRM 360.

SRM 360 seamlessly integrates with ADP (authentication), Microsoft Azure Directory (employees), Microsoft SQL Server 2022 (customers), Microsoft Dynamics GP (accounting), and Adobe Acrobat Sign (e-signature). SRM 360 has custom built components for employees to manage inventory, sales quotes, concrete mix products, customer credit applications, and internal/public job openings. The employee intranet is used daily by 7,000+ employees with an average daily session rate of 5.1 hours.

Tennessee Farm Bureau

Tennessee Farm Bureau is a national leader in informing its members on issues and news impacting Tennessee and American agriculture.

After years of relying on expensive printed brochures, magazines, and email that go rapidly out of date, the Tennessee Farm Bureau needed a more cutting-edge solution to marketing its expanding range of services and benefits. The Tennessee Farm Bureau set out to redesign tnfb.org, a low-maintenance multi-tenant website, that promotes the Tennessee Farm Bureau’s evolution rather than hindering it. I provided the strategy, design, development and programming as well as usability testing to create Tennessee Farm Bureau’s new and highly efficient website. Utilizing my expertise, I engineered a custom-built content management system for the Tennessee Farm Bureau. This innovative platform was ment to be the cornerstone of their enhanced digital presence, enabling the centralization of member benefit information, streamlining of data management, synchronization of processes, and optimization of online marketing campaigns.

For more than 50 years, the Armed Services Mutual Benefit Association (ASMBA) provided comprehensive, affordable military insurance coverage to personnel and their families.

ASMBA required a mobile application designed to streamline member payments. Emphasizing simplicity and efficiency, I leveraged Stripe's robust payment processing system to ensure secure and swift transactions for ASMBA's members. ASMBA Pay integrates with Microsoft Dynamics GP to automate financial reporting and enhance ASMBA's overall financial management process, including payment tracking, member biometrics, and detail coverage data. The mobile application is both practical and innovative in the private insurance industry, ultimately providing ASMBA with a powerful customer management tool to manage their customer account aging process more effectively. ASMBA Pay is used yearly by 11,500+ customers with an average session rate of 10 minutes.

Big Bad Hunter, a company with a whimsical yet insightful perspective on environmental and animal rights issues, embarked on a creative venture into the world of Non-Fungible Tokens with their series named STPDSOUP.

Tasked with bringing Big Bad Hunter's STPDSOUP NFT series to life, I embarked on a journey to design, develop, and deploy a collection that satirically addresses the extremities of environmental activism and animal adoration, inspired by historical environmental campaigns. This project entailed creating unique, engaging NFTs that blend vintage and modern aesthetics to spark meaningful discourse on conservation through humor, utilizing Ethereum's blockchain for transparency and authenticity. The successful launch not only propelled Big Bad Hunter into the NFT market, but also amplified their message, engaging a wide audience in reflections on environmentalism and conservation. The STPDSOUP series effectively showcased the potential of NFTs as a medium for advocacy and storytelling, affirming that even lighthearted content could foster serious conversation.

As a recurring annual highlight, Shoney's Burger Week celebrates the art of burger creation, inviting loyal customers to experience unique burgers at promotional prices.

The Shoney's team took on the challenge to elevate this event through strategic web design and development, aiming to enhance event awareness, boost restaurant visits, and increase web traffic. The approach focused on creating an exceptional user experience, visually appealing design, and functional excellence, in developing a visually attractive and easy-to-navigate promotional website for Shoney's Burger Week. Whereby, making it simple for users to find information on participating restaurants, their locations, and featured burgers. This initiative planned to led to a significant uptick in restaurant visits, with establishment target goals of 22% increase in foot traffic. The Burger Week website itself targeted a 68% increase in user traffic, with high engagement levels on restaurant profiles and the map location feature.

Defiance Fuel

In an already overcrowded and overhyped market, Defiance Fuel's online platform to purchase precision hydration products was growing, but sustaining the growth required an infrastructure upgrade.

I partnered with the Defiance Fuel team to prototype, develop and launch a completely rebuilt web experience that focused on streamlining the ordering and delivery process, so they could scale their product delivery to 500+ gyms, yoga studios, sporting goods stores, and wellness centers across the country. The collaborative effort resulted in a faster, more intuitive user experience tightly integrated with secure online payments. The Defiance Fuel team opted to integrate two purchasing methods: credit card payments via Stripe, and a more traditional emailed invoice. Upon purchase completion the new system programmatically generates a PDF invoice and emails it to the customer along with a service agreement, offloading the manual follow up process to save time and increase reliability.

In this collaboration with Taummhoms, a company known for its innovative approach to audio and original binaural beats frequencies, I focused on developing a state-of-the-art mobile application that not only simplifies user interaction, but significantly enhances listening experience. By using advanced streaming audio technology, the Taummhoms team and I enabled seamless access to high-quality original audio content for users wanting a good night's sleep. I incorporated user-played algorithms into the mobile application, which personalize the listening experience and reccomendations by adapting to user preferences and listening habits. Nashville Medical Group, an established provider of medical care for families and individuals throughout Nashille, sought to enhance their digital presence and patient engagement.

My objective was to create a website that not only reflected the professionalism and trustworthiness of Nashville Medical Group, but to also make it easier for patients to find care, book appointments, and access medical information online. The NMG team and I embraced the task of developing a website that prioritized patient user experience. The design featured a clean, welcoming interface, with intuitive navigation that enabled patients to quickly find the information. We focused on developing a robust, secure, and scalable website infrastructure that incorporated advanced features, such as an online appointment system, a service directory, and a resource center for health education. To ensure the website was accessible to everyone, including those with disabilities, we adhered to web accessibility standards throughout the design and development process. I was honored to have partnered with Berry Hill Animal Hospital, a beloved institution in Nashville's pet care community since 1958, for the design and development of their new website.

Understanding their storied history and commitment to compassionate, individualized pet care, I carefully crafted a digital presence that reflected Berry Hill’s local, privately-owned ethos. The redesign seamlessly aligns with Berry Hill's branding, introducing a modern aesthetic while maintaining the welcoming atmosphere cherished by their clients. I improved the website’s navigation and functionality, making it easier for pet owners to access information, schedule appointments, and find pet care resources. These enhancements led to a 40% increase in user engagement and a significant rise in appointment bookings, strengthening Berry Hill Animal Hospital's connection with the community and enabling them to better serve both pets and their owners.

Embracing the challenge to innovate within the bustling world of coffee consumption, Coffee Go! was destined to redefine convenience for coffee lovers everywhere. Coffee Go!, a pioneering app designed to streamline the search and purchase of coffee, is merging simplicity with a vast selection from esteemed coffee brands.

The Coffee Go! product team and I developed a mobile application aimed at transforming how coffee lovers find and order their favorite brews with the goal of redefining the mobile coffee ordering experience. I designed and developed a mobile application that served as a one-stop platform for coffee aficionados to explore and order products from a wide variety of coffee shops, including industry giants like Starbucks, McCafe, and Dunkin'. Coffee Go! was designed with the user in mind, featuring a simple and intuitive interface that made finding coffee a breeze. The Carter Company

Embracing the timeless nature of learning , I created an immersive homepage experience using a dynamic, visual hierarchy outlining The Carter Company's products and services.

The Carter Company team and I developed custom content algorithms dynamically assemble design elements and items from the content archive based on Google Adwords campaigns and past user session data to create a bold, new homepage every time a potential customer visits. To manage the breadth of content types and to create a common thread throughout the site, I developed an extensible card-based content system with various call-to-actions. Underpinning the website's massive content archive is a custom content management system, designed to streamline The Carter Company's digital learning platform. A robust layer of metadata feed the site's display algorithms and enhance the website's SEO. Since launch, the site ranks twice as many keywords with 150+ in the top 10 spots. This design and development implementation has boosted page views by 69.1%, with 87 out of 100 users visiting more than one page.
